Conveniently situated southeast of Norwich near the picturesque village of Trowse, lies the wonderful Whitlingham Country Park. We are open everyday and access is free for all visitors. The Park is adored by city folk and countryside lovers alike, offering a beautiful, tranquil escape to explore the woodlands and meadows or to just relax. We have a variety of activities throughout the year and ample parking plus a cosy cafe and refreshments onsite.

New Bird Hide is complete

The bird hide is officially open for all to visit. It has been a huge effort and created a complete transformation of the area. We're very proud of it.

Cafe seating area refurbed

The grass is cut and the new patio is ready for you to come and enjoy some delicious food and drinks at The Flint Barn Cafe. We're open daily from 9am to 5pm. If you fancy a fresh brew, we are delighted to be working with Equal Brewkery, a local supplier of quality beers and a not-for-profit organisation helping people with learning disabilities to build knowledge and skills.

Join us for Guided Walks

Enjoy a relaxed guided walk around the Park with our dedicated and knowledgeable volunteers. Walks are free and open to all on various dates throughout the summer. They start at 10.30am and last about two hours. Flint Barn Cafe is open 9am to 5pm for refreshments and food before and after the walk with indoor and outdoor seating for the variable British weather!
