Blue Green Algae

has been confirmed in
the Whitlingham Broads.
Avoid contact with the water
it may cause skin irritation
and stomach upset.
The algae is toxic to humans
​and may be fatal to pets.

​ cigarette or BBQ to start a fire!

🔥Please don't light fires in the Park and only barbecue at the designated BBQ site,
the ground is very dry and small accidental fires can quickly spread🔥

Always remember to take your litter home after any picnics or day trips,
glass bottles and other flammable rubbish can cause wildfires,
which in this heat and on dry grass can spread rapidly

Whitlingham is free to access for all visitors, however all income received from parking charges and donations is used to fund ongoing maintenance, management, improvement of the Park and supporting the volunteer programme.
