WHITLINGHAM GREAT BROAD PATH RESTORATION WORK

Picture

We want to say a huge thank you to Norfolk County Council for our Norfolk Social Infrastructure Fund grant of £100,000. This grant will allow us to continue our work to restore the path around the Great Broad, improving the access for wheelchair users and giving everybody the chance to
enjoy Whitlingham Country Park.

We are incredibly grateful to The Norwich Freemen's Charity whose help kickstarted the whole project, also The Broads Landscape Partnership, Tarmac Landfill Communities Fund and GB Driveways. This is a true example of everybody working better together for Norfolk.

Please be patient while the work is on, expect closures, diversions with plant and machinery moving around the site. Everyone is working hard to get this done and its a lot easier with your help. Follow us on Facebookor check here for updates.

Cafe seating area refurbed

The grass is cut and the new patio is ready for you to come and enjoy some delicious food and drinks at The Flint Barn Cafe. We're open daily from 9am to 5pm. If you fancy a fresh brew, we are delighted to be working with Equal Brewkery, a local supplier of quality beers and a not-for-profit organisation helping people with learning disabilities to build knowledge and skills.
