Service Description

The Tramper is an electric, all-terrain mobility scooter specifically designed to navigate uneven ground and grassy areas safely. It can handle slopes, bumps, tree roots, shallow puddles, mud, and softer woodland terrain with ease. Q: Who can use our All-Terrain Mobility Scooter? A: It is available for anyone aged 14 and over. You do not need to be registered disabled or hold a Blue Badge. The vehicle is designed to allow you to keep pace with a walking companion, making them ideal for exploring the park together. It has a top speed of 4mph. For safety reasons, all users must have someone accompanying them in case they require assistance. Availability: Through our online booking system, the Tramper can be hired between 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm Monday to Saturday. A member of our team will meet you at the Flint Barn Café for the start of your booked time. How to Hire the Tramper Booking: To secure your time slot, contact our team at least 48 hours in advance. Send us an email and wait for your confirmation reply before travelling to the park. Important Notes: -All users must be accompanied by another person and must be able to get on and off independently. -Each hire includes a short induction lasting 10–15 minutes, during which you'll receive a briefing, short test-drive, and route advice. If you then hire again in future the induction process will be shorter. -Please note, you must be fit to drive a vehicle and not be under the effects of any medication which would prevent you from driving any vehicle safely. You will also need to bring an ID card or document with you on the day of your booking.
