Flint Barn Café Summer opening hours are 9-5
There are always new things happening at the park. Here are some of the latest:
What a joy to be out and about this spring!
Our dedicated volunteers have been busy planting hundreds of hedging plants in various locations around the park. These include a mix of native species such as blackthorn, hawthorn, field maple and spindle.
The team have been busy making sure the park is tidy and accessible for you, as well as installing new bench bases for this year's memorial bench installations. See if you can spot the differences on your next visit.

New Tramper trail to explore!
Have you seen our new waymarkers around the Great Broad and Whitlingham Woods? You can follow those trail posts in our off-road Tramper scooter so you have peace of mind that the path is suitable for your adventure.
You can also head into the woods safely with the Tramper! It's a comfy ride that can cope with uneven ground and sloping paths, so it's great to ensure visitors with additional mobility needs can access these areas.
How to book our Tramper scooter:
-
Head to our to hire page. The mobility scooter can be booked out at 10am or 1pm every day, and you can use it for up to 3 hours.
-
Never used one before? No problem! It's easy to operate, and you'll get a short induction from a member of our team before you set off. They'll answer any questions you may have.

Cafe treats for chilled out visits
If you need to cool off on a warm day, our Flint Barn Cafe has just what you need. They have:
-
delicious Dann's ice-creams and lollies (including vegan options)
-
cooling drinks ranges in the fridge
-
iced coffees to give you a refreshing boost
-
see our recent blog post for more information on staying cool at the park.

Our sensory rubbing trail is coming!
Grab your crayons and paper, and get ready to discover our BRAND NEW family trail. Each of the eight oak posts features a wildlife image for you to rub and reveal, as well as an image to show you how to sign that creature in BSL (British Sign Language). Collect them all on your paper to take home! We'll have more news on this development soon, so keep an eye on our blog on the news page for updates.
The posts and signs were funded by the Access To Nature Fund. Great thanks to WWF, Aviva and the Norfolk Rivers Trust for their support.
