Flint repair work in action!
Over the winter you may have noticed that the ruins of Trowse Newton Hall were closed off behind locked gates. We had to take this step for public safety as the structure was potentially unstable in places. The building is very old indeed so it's doing pretty well, considering its age. Did you know that these ruins date back to the 1450s? Any historic structure is vulnerable to weathering, especially an exposed ruin such as this one, and our aim is to avoid further flint loss from the walls....

Paws in the Park
🐾 It's April already and it's National Pet Month , from 2nd April - 2nd May. Whitlingham Country Park is a great place to enjoy nature and fresh air with your dog(s) and there are plenty of paths and routes for your four-legged friends to exercise on.
