Word spreads fast round here... it's a well-known fact that Flint Barn Cafe's freshly baked scones are epic!
This Friday, 27th June, it's Traditional Cream Tea Day 🎉
Yes, the Flint Barn Cafe team don't usually have a cream tea offer available as a package, but there's always tea and always scones, however...
FOR ONE DAY ONLY you make the most of our scrummy cream tea deal!
In honour of this special day, you will get-
a lovely cup of English breakfast tea
a delicious homemade fruit scone served with butter, Bonne Maman strawberry jam, and Rodda's clotted cream for you to load up as you wish.
All for the SPECIAL PRICE of £6
(Delicious - and 90p off the usual price!)

Safe to say, I made quick work of the one in the photo above, and what a treat it was.
How do you eat your scone?
Some of you may be upset with the way I have loaded up my scone. I personally find it easier to put the cream on first as I think it spreads better, but not everyone with agree with that logic. The difference that is often debated is this:
The Cornish way - Jam first, then clotted cream on top
The Devon way - Clotted cream first, then jam on top
And as for butter, well, that's another matter. We say, do whatever makes you happy!
Then there's the great debate of how to even say the name of this wonderful, homely treat. Does it rhyme with 'gone' or does it sound like 'cone'? As long as you get to eat it, let's say it really doesn't matter how you choose to pronounce it.
The Flint Barn Cafe opens 9 - 5 daily during the summer season. At this time of year you can thoroughly enjoy our patio space in the sunshine with a gorgeous view over the Great Broad too. We can't wait to welcome you this Friday, or any other day for that matter, to enjoy our delicious goodies.
